WHAT WE DO

The primary advantage of providing floorplans in a marketing campaign is engagement of the potential buyer

Floorplanit generates floorplan diagrams of properties for sale and rent, for utilisation in real estate marketing material.

We measure and illustrate the property's internal floorplan, showing layout, key dimensions and property features. We also draft the site plan, showing how the property sits on the section as well as highlighting key external features.

Floorplanit services both residential and commercial real estate. Read more in Products.

WHO WE ARE

Floorplanit is a New Zealand based company, run from Mount Maunganui. It was established in 2018 to address a fundamental gap in the marketing of residential and commercialreal estate in New Zealand - the utilisation of floorplans.

CREATING EXPECTATION

Floorplanit creates concise, clear, beautiful diagrams that highlight the key features and dimensions of real estate for sale and rent.

Floorplanit aims to create an expectation within the New Zealand property market for floorplans and site plans to be available in the marketing of every property for sale and rent.

EXPLAINING FLOORPLANS & SITE PLANS

FLOORPLANS

A floorplan is a concise diagram that illustrates the internal layout of a property. Floorplans help potential buyers visualise a property and understand the relationship between rooms, providing an overall perspective of the property. They are a fundamental component of every real estate campaign.

SITE PLANS

Site plans are drafted alongside floorplans as a value add service, enabling you to showcase the aspect of the property, its orientation on the site and key outdoor features such as alfresco dining areas, parking and garden beds.

Together, floorplans and site plans showcase key elements of the property in concise, beautiful diagrams.

The Advantages of Floorplans

The provision of floorplans in marketing material offers many advantages to the sales agent, vendor and potential buyer; the primary advantage being engagement of the potential buyer.

Floorplans allow buyers to visualize themselves living in and using the space. Providing a floorplan allows buyers to actually feel the home as they walk through, rather than focusing on remembering which room was where, how the living room opened to the alfresco area, or whether every bedroom had a wardrobe. For international buyers, providing a floorplan means the agent doesn't have to take them on a half-hour FaceTime tour to highlight the flow of the house!

Floorplans are transparent - you can't hide a poor layout or lack of storage once buyers physically walk through the door. But you can show them on a floorplan how they might be able to change the space with the help of a builder or architect by busting out some walls or adding a little shelving.

At opens, providing the floorplan on hard copy marketing material encourages the buyer to "revisit the house" once they have left - it keeps the property front of mind long after they have gone.

For families, seeing how they can use and grow in the space is paramount. Whether they want to keep young children in bedrooms close to their own, or have teenagers they want on a separate level, providing a floorplan gives families more freedom in visualising themselves living in the property.

For commercial buildings, floorpans and site plans allow buyers to visualise how they would set out the space, giving them an understanding of the building layout and aspect as well as identifying important elements such as access points, parking and amenities.

Floorplans offer another level of engagement, and are a fundamental component of every real estate campaign.
